The Westminster Organ Concert Series was established in 1980 to share the resource of Westminster's Taylor & Boody tracker-action pipe organ with the community. The organ, a classical, mechanical-action instrument based on Northern European models, was built by a company newly formed by George Taylor and John Boody, two former employees of John Brombaugh. The organ was dedicated on October 26, 1980, and the concert series has continued since then. Admission is free for all concerts, although donations are welcome to help defray expenses.
